Since 2010, Raleigh CrossFit has focused on our community philosophy: “make our Raleigh community stronger.” The result is an amazing gym with a beautiful facility, programs for all levels of CrossFit experience, talented and knowledgeable coaches and a fun, welcoming community of members.
At Raleigh CrossFit, we thrive on the amazing physical transformations of our every-day members who come to us to lose weight, get strong, train for an event, or simply improve their health, including first-time exercisers, weekend warriors, grandparents, stay-at-home parents, and students. Our Training Philosophy
Our goal at Raleigh CrossFit is help you become the best version of yourself. The goal with any endeavor in life is to be challenged, to set a goal and take the steps to achieve it. Your path to wellness is up to you, but at Raleigh CrossFit we will provide the tools to help you reach your health and fitness goals. This includes providing a professional, clean, knowledgeable, up to date and supportive community environment. This extends from our facility, to our coaches and everyone who trains with us. As a member we want you to have fun while you train. To do that, we teach you what you need to know and provide the tools and resources to make your goals happen.
The workout of the day or “WOD” is designed to help your overall wellness. Fitness is wellness and the programming at Raleigh CrossFit is the MOST important difference between other CrossFit gyms.
CrossFit works, without a doubt, but more does not equal better. Excessive, repetitive movements, improper scaling or complex movements and exercises under fatigue can lead to extreme soreness and possible injury. Our athletes are under the careful watch of a highly educated and credentialed coaching team.
Raleigh CrossFit has been programming and tracking CrossFit workouts for members since 2010. Results are tracked and feedback is taken and observed by the owner and coaches to ensure that the programming is effective for all experience levels from beginners to experienced to our CrossFit Kids and Teens program.
Our programming is built around the preparing the body by teaching the proper mechanics of movements first. Safety is paramount and strength training provides that initial base for future conditioning workouts. As an athlete at Raleigh CrossFit, you will do strength training, but you will also enjoy the benefits of the conditioning aspects of CrossFit. Remember, we are training for health benefits now and as we age.

What is CrossFit?
The definition of CrossFit says everything: CrossFit is constantly varied, high intensity functional movement. It is not a specialized fitness program. It is broad, general and inclusive and a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of the ten recognized fitness domains: cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. Just come in for one our classes and you will understand. If you think you can’t CrossFit, we want to prove you wrong. CrossFit is a program for everyone. There is no such thing as getting in shape for CrossFit, as we dedicate ourselves and our programs on progressing each person no matter what their fitness level is and or what their history is.
CrossFit is a unification of health and fitness and a community of people who enjoy each other’s company and workout together. It’s a social phenomena instead of headphones, lone wolf, keep it to yourself in a treadmill at low intensity. The equipment is different, the interaction of the people is different, the movements are different than in a commercial gym and therefore you see different results. All you need to do is show up, give it your best and the rest takes care of itself. Join Our Community
Community is a staple in our fitness philosophy at Raleigh CrossFit. Not only do our members participate in several semi-annual intra-gym workout events, they also enjoy community events that both raise awareness and funds for numerous charitable causes. As an added bonus, we bond outside of the gym with BBQ’s, track workouts, social gatherings and much more!
We are more than just a fitness facility. Raleigh CrossFit wants to make Raleigh the best city to live and play in and we do it together!
