Raleigh CrossFit Barbell Training is powered by Raleigh Strength and Conditioning.
The Raleigh CrossFit Barbell Training Group is for those athletes who have a concentrated love of the barbell movements, to include both powerlifting and Olympic lifting focuses.
This specific training is geared towards those who wish to dedicate themselves to lifting skillfully and heavily. There is minimal conditioning associated with this training. This training is not CrossFit training, although if you wish to do both, you may.
Prerequisites to Participate
Athletes must have completed the Raleigh CrossFit Olympic lifting or powerlifting course or must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the snatch and clean and jerk, squat, deadlift, overhead presses and bench press.
If athletes have not completed one of these courses, the other option is to demonstrate proficiency in the movements. We do this via an athlete assessment. There is not a charge to complete the test out and it takes about 30-40 mins. This can be scheduled by contacting Chennelle at Raleigh CrossFit (919-229-4075) or email us.
Athletes must also share a desire to improve on these lifts, as well as to compete in local weightlifting competitions.
