Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, Autumn began her CrossFit career in Ann Arbor, MI in 2012 at HyperFit USA while attending the University of Michigan and earning her both her undergraduate degree and later her MS in Ecology. She has continued her training, both in weightlifting and CrossFit with Raleigh CrossFit since early 2019.
Autumn moved to Raleigh to begin her PhD in the Civil (Coastal) Engineering Program at NC State.
Athletically, she is a member of the Raleigh Weightlifting team and recently competed and set personal bests in her first USA Weightlifting elite level meet, the American Open Series in July 2019.
“I always look forward to having fun, making new friends and learning new things as a coach,” said Autumn. “One of my goals is to be a coach any Raleigh CrossFit athlete feels comfortable coming to with questions or concerns related to anything from helping to perfect a movement or helping them set and accomplish new goals. I care a lot about the people that impact my life and this community has surrounded me with the same support.”
She wants to be the best she can be, constantly wanting to learn the ins and outs of how athletes are built, not just personally, but others as well. She genuinely believes that she is successful when others around her are as well. Her leadership in that realm, as well as being able to connect with people on various levels, is very complimentary to our goals at Raleigh CrossFit.

I lived on Rota, a small island in the Pacific for almost a year – it’s part of the US and not many people know about it.
I can sing all 50 states in alphabetical order.
I have an aspiration to live minimally in a van and travel the US after I graduate.
