Connor joins our coaching staff after spending two years as a coach at CrossFit Kaiju in Matthews, NC and as an athlete with the Raleigh CrossFit community. He holds his CrossFit Level 1 Coaching Certificate.
As an electrical engineering student at NC State, Connor also begins an internship with Siemens in Garner, NC this Summer and will balance his time between our community and learning about his future career in the field.
Connor brings a unique background to the CrossFit coaching field. He will become the first coach at Raleigh CrossFit to have started CrossFit training as a teenager. This is very special as it provides a fresh perspective on the future of the CrossFit athlete. CrossFit itself began in 2002, but was not widely used as a fitness opportunity until 2008 and it was not popular among youth until the last few years. We are honored to have the fresh outlook and experience that Connor brings to the table.
“I love the opportunity to be able to become a better leader and facilitator every time I coach a class, said Connor. Since 2016 I have found Raleigh CrossFit to be a friendly environment where I truly believe I can grow, both as an athlete and now as a coach. This community has always been inviting and I welcome the opportunity to further cement my relationship.”

Snowboarding is one of my favorite hobbies and I try and get out to Colorado whenever I can.
I went to the CrossFit games in 2015 and got a picture with that year’s champ, Katrin Davidsdottir
I do not have a passport :)
