Raleigh CrossFit has known Jack since he first joined our CrossFit Kids program and then advanced into our Teen program between 2013 and 2017. As a Raleigh native, Jack is a rising freshman at William Peace College in Raleigh, NC. He graduated from the Wake Young Men’s Leadership Academy in Raleigh and also was enrolled as an early freshman at Saint Augustine’s College in Raleigh.
Jack’s maturity and dedication to excellence both as an athlete and as a student propelled him into his position as Raleigh CrossFit intern, one that was created specifically for him. His responsibilities include helping to run facility operations and maintenance and he spent several months as our assistant coach with our teen program.
While attending college, Jack has continued to dedicate training time to his sport of CrossFit, while working a part-time job and interning with us.
“I love everything about Raleigh CrossFit, but a few things that really stand out to me would be how we are so accepting, as a community, of anyone who walks through the front doors, as well as the support that all the coaches give the athletes no matter what level of fitness they are at. CrossFit has not only changed my life physically, but has helped me keep a strong mindset in school and at work.”
“Jack exemplifies what a young man should be. He is kind, hard-working, dedicated, respectful, willing to listen and willing to learn, all while building a life for himself. He truly has a strong sense of what it means to be humble while being self-confident. Jack sets a solid example for everyone and it is a privilege to have him as part of our Raleigh CrossFit team.”
