Molly is from West Jefferson, NC and joins our coaching team after spending the last two years as an athlete with the Raleigh CrossFit community. She holds her CrossFit Level 1 Coaching Certificate.
Molly is currently an exercise and sports science student at Meredith College in Raleigh. She pursued her CrossFit Level 1 coaching certificate as part of her own desire to support her concentration at Meredith College, increase her knowledge about the particular sport of CrossFit and to deepen her connection with the Raleigh CrossFit community.
“Raleigh CrossFit feels like home,” said Molly. “It is the place where I can go to relax and be around this wonderful community. I look forward to meeting new people as well as building more relationships with everyone I know already. My goals are focused on learning so that I can help others improve their CrossFit skills, as the coaches did for me. It’s also very important to me that I learn from our coaching team at Raleigh CrossFit as my number one goal is to be the best I can be as a coach and I know I am surrounded by those who seek the same.”
When looking for a coach, there are many attributes that highlight the search. These include the drive to continue learning, accountability, commitment to doing what is best for the greater good for the greatest amount of people, respect for every person in our community and the willingness to strive to be better with each encounter life brings us. Over the last two years, Molly has done all of these things. As a young coach, she brings a perspective for the up and coming athletes in our community who may be starting out just like she did two years ago. She truly has come a long way in her development as an athlete and as a future coach, learning and seeking knowledge.
